Wakeful Face Yoga
Version 1.3 · 19 October 2026
A few kind minutes for the face you already have. Not a project to fix it. Not medical care. Face yoga and breath, practised together, for every face and every age.
The first live cohort meets on Thursdays at 18:30 SAST, from 4 March to 13 May 2027. There is no meeting on 25 March. One module opens each live week, and the final module opens across the last two weeks. Every lesson is complete in its written form. Where a video has been added, it shows the same practice.
Stop if anything hurts. If you have a health condition, a recent facial procedure, or neck, jaw or eye problems, check with a qualified health professional before you begin. Jaw clicking or locking: stop, and skip the jaw-opening poses. A sudden change in one side of the face needs urgent medical care, not practice.
The live cohort is R4,800, or $320 if you pay in dollars. After this cohort, the same course with the recordings is R2,900, or $190. Paying from South Africa by PayFast? Write to adele@wakefuljourney.com and I will send the details. You will receive a code for the course once payment has cleared.
You can pause or leave. A missed day is a door, not a verdict.

The Big-Picture Outcome — How This Course Serves You
What changes when face yoga is paired with breath and nervous-system safety
Instead of bracing your jaw, squinting at screens, or pulling at delicate skin, you build a calm 3-to-10-minute daily ritual that softens habitual tension across your forehead, eyes, cheeks, jaw, and neck while giving a busy mind something soothing and physical to focus on.
Whether you learn best by seeing, listening, reading, or doing, this course is built so you never feel lost or overwhelmed:
1. Visual — Clear Spatial Vectors & Three-Stage Path
You move through three clear stages—Prepare & Understand (Modules 0–4) → Practise by Region (Modules 5–8: Forehead, Eyes, Cheeks/Jaw, Neck/Posture) → Live the Rhythm (Module 9)—supported by 32 custom Call to Clarity v0.2 diagrams and non-face finger-anchor vector maps.
2. Auditory — Eyes-Free "Garden Walk" Audio Tracks
Screen-tired? Six hands-free/eyes-free audio practices plus a 90-second Walk With Adele audio preview guide your breath, posture, jaw release, and Three Quiet Minutes reset so you can practise away from your screen.
Audio preview slot ready: "Notice the space between your eyebrows and the hinge of your jaw right now—and how simply bringing kind attention and an unhurried breath there begins to soften the whole upper body…"
3. Read / Write — Menu by Need & 4 Printable Guides
Don't want to guess where to start? Use our 1-page Menu by Need, Time & Learning Style to jump straight to a 2-minute jaw reset, a 3-minute screen-break eye routine, or the 7-day starter plan:
4. Kinesthetic — Try a 60-Second Felt Preview Right Now
Right now, let your back teeth part slightly and rest the tip of your tongue gently behind your upper front teeth. Place both palms warmly over your collarbone and let your shoulders drop with one natural exhale. That immediate softening in your jaw and neck is the foundation of every pose inside.
