Wakeful Journey
What I help with
Many of the people I work with are capable, caring and quietly exhausted. What brings them here looks different on the surface, but underneath there’s often a common thread: an old way of staying safe that just isn’t needed anymore.
Your mind isn’t broken. It’s protective. And protective patterns can gently change.
When your mind won’t switch off
Racing thoughts, a tight chest, bracing for what might go wrong.
When your body changes and anxiety arrives
For women: perimenopause and menopause can bring new waves of worry and sleeplessness.
Habits that feel bigger than you
Emotional eating, procrastination, self-sabotage. These habits usually do a job for you. When we understand that job, change becomes kinder.
When the past still feels close
Staying on high alert, shutting down, or reacting more strongly than you’d like. We move carefully, at your pace, with a trauma-aware approach.
When something else would serve you better
Some things need medical or specialist care first, for example eating disorders, OCD, severe depression, addiction or thoughts of self-harm. If that’s the case, I’ll tell you honestly, and we can talk about whether our work can support you alongside that care.
